This weekly Friday event draws out numerous hot rods, classics, and muscle cars of all types into the Riverview Commons strip mall parking lot (at Fort St & Sibley Rd), in Riverview, MI.
[This use to be referenced to Leo’s Coney Island, but they’re gone now]
We attempt to visit as many (new to us) car shows every year as we can (because we like checking out the different automobiles that are out there), and this time around, here’s the spot where we ventured off to.
Run by the Pharoah’s Car Club, it’s members fill the pavement along with many other gearheads who are into the Southeastern Michigan car scene.
Attending car shows you’ve never gone to before are generally hit or miss, since you don’t have a clue what the turnout will be at them.
However, when somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 4-wheeled wonders are participating, like today, chances are good you’ll see some stuff that will make you smile.
A few GM G-bodies, some GM A-bodies, a Buick Grand National, and a full blown blue Buick Regal race car (a twin turbocharged huffer).
That’s the kind of stuff that makes us smile.
We’re glad we decided to take a chance on this event, and are looking forward to coming back later in the summer for another visit!
Check out the pics below to see what else we saw there!
