The Friday Cruising Gratiot event that has gotten popular in the last 2 years continues on, “Making Gratiot Great Again!” – not only at Lee’s Chicken (across from Macomb Mall, in Roseville, MI), but also now at the Lowe’s on Gratiot Avenue at 15 Mile Road (in Clinton Township).
[ note that most cars are now ONLY meeting at the Lowe’s, it has a very large parking area, enough to probably accommodate 1000 cars if need be! ]
This gathering had to expand, as so many cars, and car clubs, decided to join in on the weekly fun.
(and the Lee’s parking lot was not really big enough to hold all the participants that wanted to attend)
You’ll see a big group of assorted vehicles in these 2 parking lots, and cruising between the two. Who knows what will show up, join in if you haven’t already! It’s a great start to the weekend!
A few Buick Grand Nationals were present, and several other GM G-body cars.

We went to the Lee’s Chicken car show earlier in the year (before they started at Lowe’s), and wanted to go back to check out participation at the new spot. Today’s meetup had well over 150 hot rods!
Just FYI, Lee’s Chicken use to be Dooley’s and Wild Woodys back in the day, a place where automotive enthusiasts have been gathering for many years (although it was never as huge as it is now).
