We try to attend this specific car show at least once every year.
The hot rod turnout is usually a mixed bag, sometimes there’s a 100 cars, other times 30-50, you never know until you arrive.
The Thursday August 8, 2024, participation was on the high end of the scale.
However, it’s ALWAYS cool to walk around inside the Stahls Automotive museum (in New Baltimore, MI), and THAT is the main reason why we go annually to this automotive event.
There’s generally new things to browse at inside (located in the back), plus the staple vehicles and displays that are always there, including the musical entertainment in the form of the very large organs and whatnot instruments they have (which we find fascinating when they play their tunes, even though we’ve seen them quite a few times).
There’s a new entrance to the building on the south side now since the last time we visited.
The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (movie car, a replica we believe, but still neat), the Flintstones mobile, Mysterion, the 1963 Chrysler Turbine car, a Tucker, and a polished metal Shelby Cobra, are among a few cool vehicles within.
