Back in the day, Applied Technologies & Research was one of the companies providing go-fast performance goodies for the 1984-1987 Buick Grand Nationals, Regal T-Types, etc.
They made a variety of items, as shown below.
Take a trip back down memory lane…
(assuming that you were into these Gbody Regals years ago)
(if not, you might get a kick out of seeing what Buick aficionados used when these cars were relatively brand new)
While most of these vintage items have been replaced by newer and better technology, if they’re still on your Turbo Regal today, they most likely are still functioning as intended.
.
ATR 7th Injector (from 1992)
The “7th injector” on a Buick Grand National was an aftermarket add-on fuel delivery system that added a single extra injector to the intake rail, typically for extra fuel delivery during high-RPM operation.
This product is old school technology that ensured optimal performance and efficiency for your vehicle by adding additional fuel during WOT (Wide Open Throttle) to come on in 3rd or 4th gear.

.
They also made a TPS tester. (from 1990!)
.
ATR EMC-10:
The emc-10 device replaced the MAT sensor, and ATR made a computer chip that varied the timing based on the knob setting of the device. It only worked with the special ATR chip that was made for it.
.
.
ATR Boost Controller
Similar to the EMC-10 device, only without the spark control portion.
.
ATR Gear Oil (for rear end / differential axle)
(a wide viscosity 85W-140W product for positraction and limited slip rear axles, for street and race use)
