Detroit Autorama 2020

The Detroit Autorama (Feb 29, 2020) is usually the season’s kickoff and the first big automotive event on the 2020 car cruising & car show schedule.

While there were lots of customs, hot rods & muscle cars, as well as specialty & show cars, among them the vehicles competing for the annual Ridler Award, fans of the G-body cars were mostly likely a bit disappointed since they weren’t that many of them on display this year.

Rick Fewers blue 1986 Buick Regal Limited being the sole Regal in the show.
There was 1 Pontiac Grand Prix, and shockingly no Monte SS’s this time around.
There was a handful of Chevy Malibu’s and a couple Chevrolet El Camino’s in attendance.
Several older Buick cars were on display as well.
There seems to be less and less G-bodies appearing here as time goes on.
Sad.
Hopefully this isn’t an indication of the normal for the rest of the 2020 year.
