on a related note, be aware that the the (OEM) sending units (for the gas gauge) are different for analog dash and digital dash cars!
The stock fuel pump puts out 225 lbs/hr.
Many fuel pumps have been upgraded since it’s an easy job to do if your stock one fails (since it’s already out).
A 255 lph unit is a common replacement (although higher than stock performance engines should acquire an even bigger version).
[racetronix offers a nice 340LPH unit, with/without upgraded fuel hanger assembly. Full Throttle Speed sells them]
The fuel strainer (fuel sock) should be replaced (or thoroughly cleaned) whenever the fuel pump is changed.
