With the wires starting from the radio, here’s how the wires are ran:

tan “B”, goes to LH front speaker
gray “D”, goes to LH front speaker

dark green “C”, goes to RH front speaker
light green “A”, goes to RH front speaker

yellow “J”, goes to LH rear speaker
brown “H”, goes to LH rear speaker

dark blue “J”, goes to RH rear speaker
light blue “L”, goes to RH rear speaker

[6 speaker system (concert sound ii; cs2) below:]

OTHER NOTES:

“Concert Sound” includes 6 speakers, the regular sound system only includes 4 speakers.
The extra 2 are located in the doors (lower front corner), and have a badge on the speaker covers that says “Concert Sound II”

The stock front speakers measure 3.5″ and are round.
(4″ speakers will drop right in, however, you must make sure the center tweeter does not stick up too high, or they won’t fit!)

The stock rear speakers measure 4″ x 10″ and are oval shaped.
(but many Gbodies have been converted to using 6×10 speakers via adapters)

The door speakers measure 5.25″ and are round.
(we put 6″ in there with no issues, using the csII baskets)

The rear speaker hangers have a different look to them for different years (and different Gbody cars), but all serve the same purpose and any will work on any variety G-body.

Lots of Turbo Buicks have upgraded speaker systems as well.
