When you go back to the same annual car shows, you can expect to see the same cars and same people year after year. Which is ok if you’re looking to hang out with friends, etc.
We go to see, well, the cars most of the time (although certain specific events we do hang out with our car buddies).
Most of the time, however, we like to experience new venues, and see new cars that we haven’t before.
That means heading out to new auto events instead of the same ole same ole.
Of course, that’s a bit risky, as you never know what the turnout is going to be like.
Maybe there’s 100s of cars, maybe there’s only a couple dozen.
So when we venture off to the unknown, we generally plan on hitting up multiple car shows on the same day. (to make sure we get our fill for the day)
That was the case for today.
The game plan was to go to 3 different (new to us) auto events.
(the Kingdom Builders show, Hell on Wheels meetup, and the Cigars and Buicks gathering)
This is the second (of 3) car shows for today.

Held by the Hells on Wheels Car Club, at the Shakers Bar and Grill (Canton).
Another smaller event (which we expected, considering there’s at least 10 other shows today, including 2 bigger events).
We saw 1 Buick Grand National here, and some GM A-body’s amongst the couple dozen hot rods in attendance.

As for the first show we went to today, the Kingdom Builders Church Car Show in Southfield, there was about 10 total cars in the lot (7 newer corvettes, 1 VW bug, & 2 non-important older cars). We just drive thru the lot, looked quickly, then left for this current show.
