The Neighborhood Superstars Car Truck and Bike Show, with their tag line: “Bringing All Car Enthusiast Together One Show at a Time” certainly fits the bill here for this event.
We attend the Memorial Day Showdown spectacle mainly to see all of the assorted GM G-bodies that are on display.
And there’s always a lot of them to check out!
There aren’t too many car shows in Michigan that have a multitude of G-bodies that participate (Woodward, Frankenmuth, Hines, and maybe 1 or 2 others being the exceptions), so this automobile gathering is one of our favorites to go to throughout the year.
If you’re REALLY into the G-body scene like we are, THIS is the place to be.
Of course, along with stock-ish type vehicles, you’ll also ponder upon custom rides with wild paint jobs, big rims, loud sound systems, and all types of other cool modifications.
It takes all kinds, but that’s what makes the world go round, and that’s what makes our hot rodding culture special, you might not like what someone else has done to their car, but you have to appreciate the craftsmanship that went into building it. You do you, they did them.
We dig seeing all what other people have created.
This event, held in Dearborn, MI, (in the parking lot at Gateway Classic Cars, and most of the surrounding spaces in this complex), occurred on Saturday May 25, 2024.
Wherein the weather was great, so auto enthusiasts came out in droves for this 4th annual occurrence.
Attendance must have hit a record this year, for both participants and spectators, as vehicles were still coming in when we left at 6:30 (and the show was suppose to end at 7PM).
