SandBaggers Car Show May 2023

We did a triple feature on this Wednesday, May 17, 2023: Three different car shows today (they weren’t very far from each other, and close to home).

Louie’s Towne Grill first, Big Boy in Clinton Township second, and lastly, SandBaggers on Van Dyke in Center Line, MI.

None of them were great, but all were “ok” when combined, for tonight’s total car outing.

These midweek shows, especially when there’s multiple events going on like we mentioned in the last couple posts, all suffer from having a subpar attendance record.
You should expect less than a few dozen vehicles participating per event.

(and in todays case, the last 2 of them barely hit 1 dozen, but to be fair, there may have been more that showed up after we left)

If you attend any of them with a car buddy, at least you might get good “hang time” with a friend.
Or if you just absolutely need to get out of the house (or take your ride for a spin), then these might be alright for you.
I was out running errands previous to the first car show, so went alone to these.

Visiting all of them in a row, but not really spending long at each one (as how long does it really take to look at a dozen cars?), makes it “almost” worthwhile to check them all out. It took approximately 2 hours total (from home to shows to back home).
