This is our 2nd auto event (of 3) for today, and a new venue and show that we’re attending, even though this has been an annual car show for years.
Attendance was pretty bismal, just 7 show cars were here.

There was a small festival going on, so there were a bunch of people hanging around (but not at the car show).
[ we actually think we went to this one last year, and the turnout was about the same, so we didn’t even bother posting about in on this website ]

The last car show for today (Smoky’s Cigar BBQ in Allen Park, which was another new show for us) was a total bomb. Only 3 cars in the parking lot (newer type hot rods, if you can call them that, plain jane Dodge Chargers). That’s what happens when someone announces a “car meet” (via facebook) on the same day that 6-8 other car gatherings are going on. We went, but didn’t even get out of the car, as a matter of fact, just drove by slowly (on Southfield Rd.) and never even entered the parking lot! No pics or post about this event other than this simple mention here.
