Twisted Axle Car Club BBQ Park Show June 2023

This was the third event we went to in one day.
Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Veterans Memorial Park, in Warren, MI, the Twisted Axle Car Club held a car show / bbq event that they named “Twisted in the Park.”

One of the Twisted Axle slogans is: #IdriveMYshit, and that they do, quite often as a matter of fact.
(and not just to go for ice cream runs! Although they do have a weekly hang at Leason’s on Tuesdays)

This is one of those many occasions, and where they ended up.
(several of these “car-bq” [cars plus a barbecue gala] type shows are held every year, along with a bunch of other auto related events)
(if getting together to cruise around, hit up cool car shows, and hang out with fellow auto buffs sounds like a good time, you might want to inquire with the TACC Squad)

There were a couple other car clubs that came in to check out all the going-ons, including the Hood Rats and Ride ‘N So Low (RSL car club).

This was a pretty fun event seeing the assorted vehicles that showed up.
(not to mention the good conversations with various group members)

[side note: I think there were more hot rods here than the 2023 Van Dyke Cruise held earlier in the day!]

We were smiling to see 2 other Turbo Regals parked in the shade under the trees!
(plus the lowrider Regal, a couple older Buicks, and some G & A bodies as well!)

Thanks Mike (the fearless leader of “TACC”), and everyone else involved, for making this occur and putting on a nice event.

Check out the Dodge Street van, straight out of the 1970s (or ’80s)! We Love it!
How about that white twin-turbo Cadillac V!
Cuda, Charger, R/T, check check check.

Local Michigan Mopar guys will really dig this club, there’s lots of Chrysler / Dodge / Plymouth vehicles in the stables!
(but there’s plenty of other car brands, too!)
