Saturday, 1-29-2022, a new sales record for a Buick Grand National was made!
This highly promoted Gbody sold for a cool 1/2 million dollars!
That’s $500,000 PLUS a $50,000 sales fee for Barrett-Jackson Auctions!
Bidding was hot, heavy, and steady, right up to the hammered price.
Was this too much?
Who can really say, prices have been escalating on the Gbody Regals the last few years.
It wasn’t a real shocker for us for how much it sold, that’s about what we predicted.
Hopefully, it went to a museum, where this car truly belongs (and can be appreciated by others)!
Interesting fact:
Craig Jackson, of Barrett Jackson, his Mother actually worked at the Pontiac Michigan assembly plant and her signature is on the turbo shield!
