This was our first time at this event, one we’ve been meaning to attend for several years now but something always comes up as it does.
But not today!
The Bearing Burners Auto Club (AKA BBAC) puts on this yearly event at the K of C Picnic Grounds, 11541 21 Mile Rd., Shelby Twp, MI.
The May 19, 2024, events official runtime was 9 AM – 4 PM, however, we arrived at 1:45 and they were already announcing the award winners, and some cars were already leaving.
By 2:15 the majority of the show vehicles were gone.
(perhaps they thought it would rain if it went on longer? The skies didn’t look that bad though. It did rain quickly around 4:30 but left as quick as it came)
At any rate, we came, we saw enough, but now know it’s probably best to get there much earlier next time.
(we looked at other peoples photos and by the time we got there, we guesstimate 1/2 the autos were already gone)
