Coming from the Lumberyard Pub Car Show we went to earlier, we ended up here at the Gratiot Pub (34005 Southbound Gratiot Ave., Clinton Twp., connected to the Value World parking lot).
They use to have car shows here (held by a car club, until the burnouts and drifting in the parking lot became too much), but ended because of that reason a while ago.
This “popup” auto event was announced today (July 1, 2024), as an alternative for somewhere to go on Mondays, since the old Lakeside Mall car shows aren’t happening any longer (new venue for that event pending).
Someone is trying to resurrect the weekly car shows here, and I guess we’ll have to stay tuned to see whether they are going to be a regular occurrence or not.
There were a couple dozen cars on display when we showed up (about 7PM).
