Changing Lower Door Panel Courtesy Warning Lights Bulbs (Regal Limited)

These courtesy warning lights are only found on the Regal Limited.

There’s 2 lights in each bezel, per door.
(2 on the driver side, 2 on the passenger side)

These lights come on whenever the doors are opened.

The stock OEM light was a white bulb behind the red lens, and a white bulb behind the clear lens.

SPECS:

OEM BULB NUMBER: 194

SOCKET COLOR: off-white

NUMBER OF WIRES ATTACHED: 4 (2 for each bulb)

WIRE COLOR & PURPOSE:

LH (driver side) lower door panel courtesy / warning light
CONNECTOR 1: orange wire in from CIG/CLK fuse
CONNECTOR 2: orange wire in from CIG/CLK fuse
CONNECTOR 3: white wire out to junction (connects to dimmer switch, both door jam switches)
CONNECTOR 4: white wire out to (connects to dimmer switch, both door jam switches)

RH (passenger side) lower door panel courtesy / warning light
CONNECTOR 1: orange wire in from CIG/CLK fuse
CONNECTOR 2: orange wire in from CIG/CLK fuse
CONNECTOR 3: white wire out to junction (connects to dimmer switch, both door jam switches)
CONNECTOR 4: white wire out to (connects to dimmer switch, both door jam switches)

The Buick T-Type WH1 we are using for the example lights photos for this series obviously does not have these lights.
Here’s some examples of the Buick Regal Limited we found that have these lower door panel courtesy / warning lamps.

HOW TO CHANGE BULB:

.

Pull lower door panel away from door.
Reach up and twist out the socket.
Pull bulb out.
Replace with new bulb.

Reassemble in reverse order.
