provides direct power to the fuel pump (when an external power connection is added to this connector)

powers up the fuel pump when power is applied to this connector

engine compartment, drivers side, behind/near alternator

this wire is “constant hot”
This connector should NOT be plugged into the nearby GREEN connector!
This is an excellent source for being able to drain out your fuel tank via the fuel rail.
(remove the schrader valve off fuel rail, hook up a hose to a jug/can, then power up the fuel pump with this tap connector)
