gives readings to the the Twilight Sentinel module

TURNS ON-OFF / FUNCTIONS / USED WHEN:

senses ambient light levels and turns the headlights on when it is getting dark

LOCATION IN VEHICLE:

top of dash, center
(connector runs down between steering column and radio, left side of HVAC controls)

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS ITEM:

The dial on dash adjusts the sensitivity (turn on point) for the Twilight Sentinel system.

The photo cell sensor works with the Twilight Sentinel Module Relay Switch.

Not all Turbo Regals have the factory wiring in place, but generally if you have the factory alarm system the wiring is already there for the twilight system.

The last photo herein shows the “Twilight Sentinel Photo Cell Holder & Retainer”
(GbodyParts has these available as repops. They say: The holder part is louvered to allow a certain amount of light into the photo cell. We have also reproduced the Rubber Foam Ring which was never available from GM. This ring is what holds the cell tight in place.)

The Twilight Sentinel option was available on all of the other G-body vehicles as well.
