We are at the point now that we’ve been through all sections in the 1987 Buick Grand National except for the engine compartment.
(and a paint job, but that’s the very last thing we’ll tackle)
We also have some mods we want to do to the Buick 3.8 liter turbocharged engine, but since summer is here, we want to actually drive the car (instead of it being down for awhile for upgrades).
So for now, we want to get some relatively simple projects out of the way first.
All under the hood things.
.
.
A quick rehash on just a few of the many things done in the past:
(in case you missed them, you can click the links to check them out)
CHASSIS:
rear disc brakes, brake lines, tubular a arms, coilovers
INTERIOR STUFF:
160 MPH speedo, steering wheel, rear package shelf, console
EXTERIOR STUFF:
led bulbs, fiberglass bumper, GNX fender vents, front spoiler
MISC STUFF:
door jamb vents, trunk kit, braided fuel line, two step limiter
.
Now it’s time to clean up the engine bay.
The tasks we will be doing should be relatively easy jobs, and a quick read thru for you guys.
(but they’re ideas you can implement on your own Gbody Regals)
This will be an ongoing project now until we get everything done the way we want.
Stay tuned.
The first job starts tomorrow.
The rest will come in due time over the next few months.
